My choice of six pairs of shoes starts with,

The foundation of any woman's shoe collection.

(Christian Louboutin Simple 100)

Black patent pumps in 100 to 120mm heels. Drop dead gorgeous and goes with anything.

(Jimmy Choo 24:7)

Slingbacks. An absolute must for any day wear and transitions well to evening. It's the ultimate in professional "power" wear.

(Valentino)

D'Orsay pumps. Every shoe designer makes a D'Orsay because with it's peep-toe, arch cut-out and toe cleavage, it is a stunning evening/formal shoe.

(Manolo Blankik Rinuccia)

Evening strap sandals when you want to make a statement. It's a very difficult shoe to get right. Can look very trashy/cheap and unbalanced if done wrong.

(Salvatore Ferragamo ballet flats)

Ballet flats are the iconic casual shoe. Looks good with almost anything.

But my choice for the shoe any woman looks great in is the..

(Manolo Blanik Carolyn)

Halter slingback. It's balanced, comfortable and can be worn by almost any foot shape. But it's a surprisingly difficult shoes to make correctly. The best were made by Gianni Milanesi, who was once the head cobbler for Blanik. Regrettably the factory is now closed.
Santa, I've been a very good girl this year, I will have one pair of each please!
(will post pics of my top shoe picks later )
I love all your choices Richhard!!!! Thanks for sharing!!

No pumps for me this winter! I live in the Midwest, and we get a LOT of snow, so I'll be strictly wearing comfy boots, and occasionally flats. I'm actually considering getting (dare I say) a pair of UGGs. I have a couple of knock offs and actually really like them.

Why worry about walking or standing. You should be lounging or being driven anyways. That's why they're called "Limo Heels".

But seriously, look for a heel around 80mm or about 3 inches. That's actually about the heel height of some running shoes.

Manolo Blahnik and Ferragamo will have some styles in multiple heel heights. 80mm, 100mm and 120mm.

Thank you:) I will take a look on them.

hahaha that's true, I do have "Limo heals" but I only store them in boxes:(
I have my winter boots and yes Dr Martens shoes, but I find them the perfect shoes for snow.
My back is getting better so hopefully in summer time i'll be able to wear heals
