Need ideas for a new Hairstyle

I recently had a loss in my family. Out of frustration and anguish I took the scissors into to my own hands and cut approx 4 inches off my hair. I went to my hair dresser and she took 2 inches off to fix the destruction I caused. My hair is now an inch bellow my shoulders and now I have bangs. My issue is now I can't do a thing with it. You gals out there with short hair have any hair style suggestions??

I think of short hair as being an inch+ ABOVE the shoulders. You still have a lot to work with; whatever you did with your hair before can be done with the length you have now. :)

You can try pin curls. With your hair being short now, might be easier to attempt.

It sounds like you have a pretty normal length for pin up hair. Like Cupcake said, to be considered short it is normally above the shoulders. Spend some time going through the Make-Up, Hair and Beauty forum (there are a ton of hair threads) and have a look through the photos, you'll see there are a ton of styles for that length. For tutorials, check out the videos section and the Dollhouse, http://www.pinuplifestyle.com/group/pinupdollhouse. You have a very popular length, you should be able to find plenty.
