Returning from hiatus...I guess

It has been several months since I have internet access, and happily I was not missed.

At times I wonder why I even try to make people care about what I do, then am reminded I do everything for myself.

Anywho, lots of new photos up; comments and critique are very appreciated as I have been considering doing some light modeling. To be honest, I have never thought of myself as a model, but enjoy creating various artistic visuals with hair, make-up and occasional performance.

Things to look forward to from yours truly:

+Second issue of 'Aesthetic Evolution'

+Launching of Couture Coiffure [hand made wigs and hair pieces] as well as Eightball Kustoms [one-of-a-kind hair flowers and other accessories].

+Finishing and releasing a novel I have been working on for several years.

While I am going to try and be active around here, it definitely seems many people do not care about actually connecting or collaborating, which is a shame. Hopefully not everyone is a lying fraud that is only out for themselves, but that is the way it seems. *meh*

Wow, that's an interesting re-introduction post. It's very unfortunate that you feel so negatively about a site that has so many wonderful opportunities. This site has grown so much since it started, and as active members know, you get out of it what you put in. We are all about connecting and collaborating, however, in order to do so you have to be active, and it helps very much to be positive. Negative attitudes don't tend to get people very far, here or in real life. I am always looking for new wigs and hair pieces, I have a huge collection, but unfortunately this post comes off as very insulting to this site and it's members, and that makes me lose all interest in your products or projects. I'm sure others will feel the same.

I'd like to say welcome back, although it doesn't sound much like you even want to be here. I hope that you are able to find some positivity here on the site.

Actually, my comments were not aimed particularly at this site, and perhaps that should have been stated more clearly.

While it may not read in the post, I am far more positive than you are giving me credit for. Everything I have accomplished in my life stemmed from hard work and determination. However, at the end of the day, having my integrity in tact does not pay the bills. Continuing to find motivation from within to do whatever makes me happy is a lot harder than most people will understand. For goodness sake, the whole reason I still perform is due to the love of the art, not b/c it will get me plastered all over the internet or gain a monetary reward.

It's not that I have no desire to be here, or exist in any on-line forum. However, when you continually put yourself out there only to be trampled by those who know so-and-so, the shallowness of any scene becomes quite apparent.

This is the ONE place where none of this has come my way, and my disappointment is in those I once admired and respected who no longer can give me the time of day for whatever reason.

Hope that mad more sense.
