What is the best brand for the pin-up red lipstick?

Well I guess that depends on what your complexion is. Sometimes the cheapest brands of lipstick stay on the longest and have a better range of redtones. I just bought Palladio lipstick at Sally's beauty because I'd liked the blueish-red tone they had. I works pretty well with my ghostly complexion, plus the matching lipliner is waterproof!

My favorites are L'oreal Refined Ruby, Revlon Cherries In The Snow, and Revlon Fire and Ice. The Fire and Ice was their most popular shade in the 50s, and they still make it.

Marilyn asid she used to use 3 different shades at one to make it pop. i love to use brick by mac pencil ..mostly alone but also with dubonnet lipstick because of the darkness and hint of blue.

This lipstick is fantastic. The red on the website isn't really true to color, the reds are bright and bold. It's perfect for photo shoots or if you are a performer. It doesn't come off and it doesn't feel sticky at all. I haven't had it flake on me once either. :)

I had good results with kat von d's lip stain! stayed all day, and if you want a glossy finish slap some lip gloss on!
