reasonable priced and fit normal women...where are you getting your pinup clothing?

Ok so I love my vintage repo or real clothing, but I have a problem finding reasonable priced... (dresses less than 100 bucks each) and ones that fit a normal sized woman. I know PUG clothes and I love them but the price tag and shipping has been keeping me away lately. I usually look at marshalls or where I can to try and find something vintage looking. I really want to get some shorts and jeans but they are all outrageous! Anybody find any good bargains? When I look at vintage I can never find anything in the medium size range. Any advice or secrets?

One of the things I try to do in my shop is find clothes for women who aren't a size 2. Sure, I have lots of that, because that was the size they wore back then (only it was labeled very differently!), but I also look for things that might fit a size 8, and sometimes find things that are even larger that fit my aesthetic.

Most of my dresses, except gowns. are priced under $100. I would also recommend looking at another member's site, as she finds great clothes and sells them for a reasonable price.

As far as new retro clothes, I have had great luck at Talbot's-- other than that, I sew my own.

For dresses and such I love to look in antique or thrift stores. For jeans I just recently got a really nice pair of high waisted jeans from the women's section in JC Penny, I got them on sale but the regular price was like $30? They are really really great quality too. The ones I got are the "Amanda" style from Gloria Vanderbelt

Look on Yelp.com for thrift stores in your areas. I found a beautiful blue Oscar de La Renta dress with a full skirt for $12! It is practically new, actually cost me more to dry clean than to buy it.

i get really lucky at thrift stores, and at my local vintage boutique. however you do have to look/ shop thru everything sometimes, and there are days you dont get lucky at all. its a game i dont mid playing.... but most of my garments come out to $2-$9 a piece. this just lightens the blow to the bank for when i see something online that i "NEED" in my life LOL
