Hi all. I have a question. A few days ago I received an email notice from Pinterest that something I had re-pinned from another user, had been removed at the request of the person who owned the blog it was pinned from. It was something having to do with gardening and I guess they did not want their material on Pinterest, so they filed a complaint. The original pinner now has a strike against their account (but those of us who repinned do not) and if he/she receives another complaint their account may be permanently deleted. This lead me to wonder how many of the photographers, bloggers, etc who frequent this site, do not want their own material floating around on Pinterest. On the one hand I can see why some folks might now want their material floating around. On the other, it could be something that increases their customer base. Any opinions? Or feedback?

All of my photos have my logo and branding on them. We have hundreds of our photos being pinned and love it! Basically just little ads!

I agree - Nothing shared with a positive attitude can be bad. I'm also just discovering www.hitrecord.org, which takes this idea to a whole new level!!

I just recently started pinning some of my photographs on Pinterest.com / Rp3photoworks and have had some feel back but not a lot. at first I was a little leerily about it but it is free promotion.

Thank you for your answers. I hope that people posting your work on that site has been helpful and brought some business your ways. :)
