I adore polesque! Gravity Plays Favorites is one of my favorite duo's of polesque. I have seen them a few times around town and originally met the gals at a Dresden dolls show they were doing a few years back. They were extremely sweet! I was always curious how they kept from sweating and sliding down the pole, and baby powder is the trick!
I have always thought of doing polesque but honestly would rather tamper with Arial.

It's one of the basic ones for home use. There's videos of girls using ones like what I have allll over YouTube because if you don't readjust the tension often, it'll collapse altogether. Thankfully, I've never had that problem, haha.
It's not currently installed, but thank you for reminding me I need to get on that. ;0D
I can't say I'd ever try to set a routine to music and do it in front of people, but it is one hell of an exercise. Most tricks aren't as difficult as they may seem. I can do quite a bit on it, anyway. =0]

First of all I have heard of this championship before but I thought people were messing with me, I never thought it was a real event. It does take incredible strength and balance. But erotic and sexy ???? To me, it borders on a circus act and I can't get past the horrible shoes, costumes and hair, so I'll keep my money in my purse thank you.
