"We Are The New Vintage"
Hi everybody!
I am an aspiring pinup model in Melbourne Australia and would like to arrange a photoshoot at a popular diner called Misty's diner and was just wondering how to go about requesting permission from the owners?
I have drafted out an email introducing myself and my photographer, complimenting them on the diner and how we love the food, staff and the decor and that we would love to have a photoshoot there. The email details the concept of the shoot, attaching pictures of inspiration to show what kind of look we hope to recreate, links to our facebook pages for more info about us and an understanding of the long hours that the diner is open and the hope that we could arrange a time/day that suits them.
Anything else I could include? Suggestions and feedback welcome! Thanks :-)

The email sounds good, but how about just going in there are shaking some hands? I smile can get you pretty far when it comes to other people, and they might feel better about saying yes to someone they have met, instead of someone over an email.
Good luck!
I agree with Roxi...
I always go into the place & ask to speak to the manager/owner, or leave a card for the Manager or Owner...
I have never been turned down for the use of a location. It's more publicity for the bus. or diner in your case...especially if you give them credit for the location.
Have Fun with your shoot! =)
Thanks dolls!! I will take your advice and go in there and introduce myself :-) I guess I am so used to contacting people online, that I didnt think to just pop in! I think its the more informal approach :-)
