Photographers.. what are your biggest pet peeves?

So, I always wonder if there is anything I can do to help a shoot run more smoothley.. especially when its the first time shooting with a photog.... It's your turn to Vent!!!!

Thanks for the tips models & photogs alike! I am new to this whole "modeling" thing and a TOTAL nervous Betty! I get so wrapped up in what I am doing and if I am doing it right, I get so tense. I will try to practice what ya'll are preaching so I can become a better model altogether. THANKS!!!

I mostly shoot non-professional models, so getting someone that can pose is a great bonus for me, rather than a pet peeve if they cant. But at least know how to move your body or be willing the be physically posed by me or my assistant if you can't. I shot one girl who was like a robot. We literally had to move every part of her body for every pose. It took forever and was really annoying, but funny as hell too. At least she was a friend so we got to laugh at her inabilities the whole time.

And I gotta agree with the drunk/high thing too. I shot a woman once that was sweating the whole time, and it wasn't from the heat (I think she was actually doing lines of coke in bathroom at the salon, along with the bottle of champaign she consumed)! Needless to say the close ups were less than stellar.

Yeah, the high girl was no fun, but the robot is actually my avatar at the moment, so all wasn't lost! If all else fails... get 'em on their backs!
