Petticoats/ Crinolines

[Stylemasters Hair Adornments]

Can anyone suggest a good online shop for crinolines/petticoats? I'm not looking for a BIG FLUFFY one.. just to give my full dresses some oomph! Thanks all.

Hello Lovely, I found and bought one this week. From http://tinyurl.com/50sstylepetti The site looks pretty..mom and pop...but I found one for $34.00 and reasonable shipping. I ordered on Monday..got it Thursday!! It's REALLY fluffy! I'm thinking about ironing it to make it a little less fluffy... But I'm really happy with it. I'd give em a try if your still interested in one. =)

Update: So I spent about an hour ironing it down some.. am I glad I did.. it was still VERY full..but not super crazy full like when I started. It was a lot of fun to dance in and my bff had one on too! We laughed because we felt like bells! These were for sure attention grabbers! I'm glad I made the jump into the Petticoat Pool! =) (pictures to follow)

You rock, I just purchased two colors from the website you provided and very much looking forwarded to having two full-size Petticoats that cost under $50 ... in this case they only cost $34.95, plus some shipping. I'm happy that you can actually choose a size to fit you right and not a one-size-fits-all. I'm also happy that they are located within the US so that the shipping won't take long and since they are in WA, and I'm in CA ... even better! West Side! Ha! <3

I've known about the ones at Vivien of Holloway ... the price isn't terribly high but still at almost $100 a pop in USD I might as well buy it from Bettie Page Clothing for $80 each (which they are the same long-length and fullness) - BPC have only about 4-5 colors to choose from but they are the typical ones most would want/need. The ones from VOH are a one-size fits all, I've used some of those from other brands and sometimes they are too tight if you're on the bigger side, and sometimes they fit just fine.

There are some great Vintage / Thrift stores in Hollywood like Jetrag and Iguana Vintage Clothing when it comes to finding items like Petticoats/Crinolines not to mention other things, they are just a hit or a miss as to when they have some in stock and when they do they tend to be shorter side.

It looks wonderful and it looks long ... which is very important to me! I'm gonna laugh if it's like super puffy fluffy ... but luckily if that's the case ironing will do the trick, even if it takes a while! So excited!!! Looks darling on you!!!!! Got them yesterday they are darling! Only took 3-days for shipping, they are long puffy, made very well ... I'm never using another Petticoat/Crinoline provider again! This is worth it, truly a hidden gem! You are awesome, thank you so much for recommending this company! It will as you said need some ironing down just to tame it but I couldn't be happier! <3

Yeah ... only took 3 days, still in shock. Ha. I never thought I'd be so excited over a Petticoat, wtf. Ha. Yes I'll be at #VLV15 ... we'll have to meet up and take pix with our puffiness!!! It's soooo going to Viva with me!!!! <3
