Paris hawks perfume, tries really hard to be Marilyn

Ugh. She's at it again. It's bad enough Paris Hilton has yet another perfume on the market (who really buys that stuff). While promoting it, she dressed like Marilyn Monroe - a skanky, wonky-eyed, talentless Marilyn. See the article here:

Very few people can pull off the Marilyn look; Paris is not one of them. That's just my opinion. What do you guys think?

She looks horrible as Marilyn =( Sad, but she unlike many other stars just can't seem to pull off the classy look.

I see nothing wrong with her doing Marilyn. So many girls have done it, and will do it in the future, who are we, or anyone else out there, to say who can and can't? Let's face it, for most girls/women, getting to be Marilyn is a dream come true, even for just a couple of hours during a photo shoot. I don't think anyone she be begrudged that joy.

The person who wrote that article sounds really judgmental to me. Maybe it's because she has mousy brown hair and big teeth and can't pull off Marilyn herself? You never know. Just saying.

I have nothing against Paris but the Marilyn look doesn't look right on her... she has no curves and that dress really emphasizes that. And that bra she's wearing to make her look as if she had breasts it's just horrible. It looks like somebody just glued some breasts on her, but failed to locate them in the appropriate place.
Besides that her lips are overdone and she looks a little clownish...and she should really stop with the posing. She's trying to be sexy but she looks so fake it hurts my eyes.

Yes, I've seen worst, but that's not an excuse(especially for someone who considers herself a fashion role model)

methinks she has too high an opinion of herself. why should one icon try to dress up like another? if they were so iconic then they wouldn't have to.

I agree, everyone wants to be Marilyn, i would love to be her. I just hope she doesnt "ruin" the image with her trash.... because all you gotta do is have class to look like Marilyn.

I agree that this isn't the perfect look on her, but let's be honest- she has done much, much worse.
