Opinions on the name I am thinking of choosing. Please and thank you!!

Hello I have been reading what other girls have posted and responses that they have got about choosing the name they will be using so I have been putting some though into this. I have only came up with the name Able Mable. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I like the name Mable. It was a nick name one of my favorite teachers in high school gave me. It is also just not a name that is heard a lot. I like to be different and go with things that are uncommon. I appreciate any feed back at all. Thanks so much!!

Be sure to google any name you are thinking about. Nothing p***** a model off more then someone stealing their name. I know there is a drag queen out there with that name, and I'm pretty sure it was once used by a Derby girl, although I'm not sure if it still is. Mable is a cute name, just make sure you do your homework before deciding on one.

Thank you! I have googled it and the only person that it came up with is a representative of some sort (which she isn't showing up now) and a band.  I just thought I should have something to go a long with Mable. Thank you for your advice. I thought if I put it out there first then maybe I would find out something or if it was in use and didn't find it. I was also think of my great grandmothers names which are Rose and Billy.

Just a heads up, there is a retro/vintage designer who calls her label Able Grable (who makes gorgeous designs btw http://www.ablegrable.com/).

 

Might be bothering for you if people mix up your names and might be confusing.

Hi there!  Love the name idea, but Mabel is usually spelt 'el' rather than 'le' - at least it is in England :) Mable looks a bit like marble - or maybe i just need another glass of wine!

I kind of love using Billy, although if I were you I'd probably feminize it a little by spelling it Billie (which is also a bit of a shoutout to Bettie Page!)

Thanks so much! Those are very good ideas!! I love them and now will be thinking about them. One of my girlfriends also said something with Page or Scarah. She calls me Scarah so she was thinking we could use something with that would be cute.
