Nude Shoots

Every Photographer I come across wants me to shoot Nude! I’m not worried about my body I just don’t want the world to see it! Am I wrong? Is it part of being a pin up model?

the way a see it you always have to show something but if you dont want to then forget bout it dont do it, but there are many chicks out there that as soon as they show something then they recognized

really its up to you. you're not a tool for a photographer to boss around, you're both artists in your own right. if you're trying to get "big" getting naked is not "the way" do what makes you comfortable, try implied nude or something don't just take the naked step right away. if you are not comfortable it will show in the pictures you take so nothing will have been accomplished by you or the photographer. give it time and feel it out, just watch out for the creeper photographers that are just trying to get naked women in front of their camera!

Sweetie, If you dont feel comfortable then you most certainly are not wrong!
I have the same problem as you, a good few photogs want you to do nude. Except I'm very blunt and say "NO, I will NOT do nude. Dont ask again"
It most certainly is not a requirement for pin up, so dont feel pressure. And if someone is pressuring you, dont work with them. You will find you wont feel comfortable with them, and they will almost always keep pushing for the nude shots.

Thank you Betty ive been thinking maybe pin up modeling wasnt for me i live the lifestyle and i love everything about it just the nude thing freaks me out! i just want to feel sexy not nude!

It shouldn't be an issue, nip it up front.

"Hi, yes i'd be interested in shooting with you, however I'd like to state as I do to all photographers that I don't have any interest in posing nude, please respect my request to not inquire about it. Thanks!"

If they ask at any point, bail, if they don't respond to your interest in shooting with them, then no harm.

No you don't have to shoot nude to be a pinup model.
I don't do nude stuff, it's just not my cup of tea. Maybe I will some day, but I've been doing pinup modeling for 5 years and still have not shown a nipple in my photos.
Implied nude is one thing, going all out is another.
Do what you feel is best for you!
And again, those nude shots will never disappear once on the internet, so be make sure this is something you WANT to do and that it is a professional photographer who is good at nude photography.
Just because a photographer WANTS to take nude pictures of you does not mean he will be good at it.

I remember Sabina Kelley saying something along the lines that shooting nude is a big decision. If you decide to shoot nude, then there's no turning back. Most photographers will always want to shoot you nude.

The photographers want to shoot you nude because you are a hot little number! But in my opinion, stick to teasing. Show just enough skin but never too much. I always loved pin up because of it's ability to tease the viewer. Make it known on your profiles that you DO NOT shoot nudes if that is what you choose.

If they continue to ask, just ignore them!!

There has been a big shift in the amount of photographers seeking to do nude work. Personally, I have no desire to do it. I feel that images are way more enticing when you leave the viewer wanting more. I think that's the true essence of Pinup photography.
