so i have many pics from this heritage village in Nova Scotia Canada
its my favorite location and the whoole town this place is in is amazing.
ive had some comments asking about this place, and i wanted to share the website info with everyone
www.heritagevillage.ca
it is a 40 minute drive from halifax nova scotia, and i know alot of photographers look for these specail locations
if you are ever up this way it would be worth it to go out and get a set done at there vintage gas station, or in there house from the 40's fully equipt
i mean it is amazing. and how could iu not mention the car shows that go on out there, and a harmonica festival..
keep in mind it is more rural. but none the less an amazing location and vacation
xo

Oh! I have read about this before. Too awesome. I would love to visit!
We have a place like this near me and I love it! It's more 1930s styled but it's used loads for tv and photos

Oh my god! I never heard about this place before. Looks like I will have to put Nova Scotia on my places to visit!
oh bridgette, i really have to say that nova scotia is a beautiful place to vist and its full of wonderfull places to use as locations
theres an island called hangmand island
pirate pinup? eh eh
Thats IT! I'm defecting. I'm putting myself up for adoption to a nice Canadian family and leaving the US! Haha! (Sorry if my joke is in a bad taste- this being Independance Day and all)

That looks like a place to add to my list of "Canadian Places to See Before I Die". Why don't we have some kitchy atomic village here? All we have are pilgrim and revolutionary era villages back east. Of course there's also Tombstone and The Shady Dell, but it isn't quite the same.
OMG!!!!
I HAVE TO GO VISIT!! GOTTA START MAKING A PLAN
Basingstoke, in Hampshire. It's called Milestones and isn't that big, but you get the feel of it. There's a candy shop selling yummy stuff too Oooh and a women that just go around dressed up all pretty - what a job! I wanna be a living historian soooo badly!

It has a Victorian section too, but I love the 1930's section. Here's the website:
