Hi Everyone,
I just officially remodled my kids photo studio and turned it into a pin up/budoir studio. My new studio name is Little Black Dress Photography Studio. I got the rough website up like 10 min ago and I would love to get everyones opinions.
Thanks so much!

Looks great! The over all look of the site is awesome as well as easy to navigate.
My only suggestion, is to maybe add some "behind the scene" type photos of the studio itself, along with any props you have available. Sometimes the photos in the gallery aren't enough to show clients exactly what all there is to offer. Other than that, you've got all the info that I could possibly think of, that a good photography website should have!
Hi Tessa,
Thats a really good idea I will try to take some photos of the studio and stuff towmorrow I wouldnt have thought of that,
Thanks
I think it looks great! I really like the online appointment calendar.
I also agree with Tessa's suggestion about the behind the scene photos...
it looks great. its simple and effective. it has great style. i think tessa's comment about behind the scenes of the studio pic would be nice for people looking to come. good luck!
1. The first thing that jumped out at me was that the song you're using on your website is owned by Warner Music Group. Unless your have WMG's permission, using that song, especially on a commercial website, is a major copyright infringement.

2. I would have the kid's photography on a completely different website. I'm not arguing artistic merit nor philosophy. I'm arguing good business sense. For kid's photos, your client's will be parents and you don't want to even hint at any inappropriateness.

3. Do you have model releases for all the photos on the website? Some people may not want their images used for commercial purposes, especially their children's.

4. The website is Flash driven and doesn't run on iPhone/iPad. It might not be an important issue but with more and more people migrating to these devices, you might want to think about it.

5. Finally, are these your strongest shoots? Quality speaks more than quantity.
Hi Richard,
Thanks for the advice I appreciate it!

1) I had not even thought about that however I have now started the ball on recieving permission. I dont think it will be a problem hopefully

2) I see what you are saying and I thought about it however I am not advertising that I shoot kids and famlies at all so the only ones who will know about it are my pin up clients with kids so i think it will be fine .
:
3) Yes, I have releases for everything on the website

4) I am in the process of getting a mobile version up and running as well for the same reason.

5) valid point I just started shooting pin up a month ago so I just wanted to get a large selection up but I will go back through and maybe edit
