I had a baby 10 months ago and I have managed to pack on the pounds during and after my pregnancy. I need to loose 50 pounds to get where I used to be. I know "I'm the only one who change myself"...blah blah blah. I just can't seem to get motivated. Does anyone have advice for someone who can't seem to find motivation within themselves, doesn't have a positive support team, isn't a "workout 24/7" kind of girl, and (to be honest with myself) somewhat lazy? I really need help girls. I need my sexy back!

I don't have any diet or exercise tips other than what you already know. But don't be so hard on yourself. Find the sexy that's in you now, not in some ideal image you think you have to be. And if you're honestly depressed and it lasts longer than a couple of weeks, you should seek professional help.
What worked for me was going to Weight Watchers and actually stepping on the scale and becoming accountable to myself for what I put in my mouth.

Next, I started working in a vintage store and was inspired by my desire to wear cute clothes.

I hate to work out so I found a regular record hop and started jiving my hardest and dancing with anyone who asked me. I leave the bar wet with sweat sometimes.

I've lost almost 40 pounds since July. My waist has gone from 36 inches to almost 31 inches and my hips from 51 inches to 45.

You can do it when you are ready...just find the thing that gives you the desire to do it!
u know what I am kind of in the same boat...I'm getting married in Oct. and I keep telling myself that I need to lose like 20lbs for the wedding...and I want to be healthy...but I cant seem to get motivated to do it. Its really frustrating when u know u need to do something...and it's for your own benefit...but u don't do it!!!
Congrats on getting married! My best friend is getting married in October and I don't want to be the biggest girl in the wedding party. Were on the same deadline!

Weight Watchers is definitely a good option for me. I'll look into that. I started by putting the fattest picture I have of myself all over my house so its a constant reminder of what I don't want to look like anymore. Its dropped me down a couple pounds so its a start. :)

hey, at least you didn't gain over 75lbs! ((ahem...me))

I have to lose another 50 until I'm back to a healthy weight. (150) but I think I'm super sexy now! plus, I have my 3 kids , which i wouldn't trade for anything! :D

anyway...I use Fullbars. They're awesome, you eat one before breakfast, and one before dinner, and it fills up your tummy, so your brain says "stop eating!"

it REALLY works. (my 25 lbs down is proof!)

Good luck Doll Face! And remember, that you're sexy right now! the sooner you learn that, the sooner you'll start taking better care of your sexy self! ;)
I recommend trying to find an activity out of the house...which may be hard with a child, I realize...but I find its a lot easier to go to bellydance class than to try and discipline myself to do it at home. If you are into yoga or some sort of dance or whatever type of class, maybe find one hour a week you can go and then you can utlilize what you learn in class at home. Good luck and you are sexy regardless!!
This is GREAT advice. It won't feel like working out if you're dancing!

The perfect jump start for your diet is: http://www.kaengraeng.com/
Along with the Kaeng Raeng you can eat as much raw veggies and fruits as you want for three days.
After that you'll notice your energy will be THROUGH THE ROOF and eating healthier will be MUCH easier!
Stick with it!
I also put pictures of Bernie Dexter and ladies I look up to on my fridge and on mirrors. "Old hat" perhaps but it gives me the motivation I NEED!
Best of luck, doll! :-)
I did the opposite and put a really fat picture of me all over the house to remind me of what I don't want to look like anymore. Maybe a more positive picture is a better idea. Thanks!
