"We Are The New Vintage"

WAIT!!! think long and hard before deciding sweety. ask around and find a reputable artist, you don't want a dolphin turning out looking like a shark. have them draw up some designs, stick them on and wear them a while. something you really like may not look good after see it on you. i have a pair of flamed dice i have been wearing around on my arm and on my wrist forever and still haven't decided on a location. a good way to experiment is to copy your design onto a sheet of clear plastic. it looks like a real tattoo when you place it on your skin. i'm just sayin, don't jump in until you test the water. i have many friends that regret having some work done that they truly regret. good luck hon. chop.
I think the bows are a super cute idea, but I'm kinda bias. My first tattoo was at 18, and I still love it. 11 tattoos later, and I love every one. If you feel that you wanna do it, go for it!! But as Chop said, be sure you're sure.
Here are my seems w/bows. Not the best pic, but the best I can find at the moment.
All i can say is the tattoo's i got when i was 18 and the tattoos i have now are completely different - Most of the ones i had at 18 (because i could) are now covered up- twice the cost and pain!
Just be sure what you get is definitely what you want - and think about the area of skin your getting inked on- I had a tiny piece done on my stomach and back which meant i had to work around them when i decided i wanted huge piece doing 5 years later!
But if it helps Im waiting for my tattooist to come back about doing me bow on my thighs- haven't found a tattooist i trust enough to do seams thought yet!
Just to highlight it i think my hubby showed you his back piece- complete with a tribal design above it which he got at aged 18/19 and is now looking at having it covered up by a bat!

Happy Birthday!
I like your idea about the bows...my only advice is make sure you look for a really great artist. Be prepared, it's addictive! Good Luck...get pictures
