Major D*** Winters of Hershey,PA and "Band of Brothers" fame has passed away.

On January 2nd, 2011 Major Richard "D***"  Winters, passed away near his home in Hershey, PA.  He was with Company "E", 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, during World War II. His life is portrayed through HBO "Band of Brothers". Our country is better because of his devotion and his legacy will live on in those he taught, led, and loved. We owe our freedom to men like him of the World War II generation.
