I got rear ended a while ago and havent fixed it yet, the color cant be matched, it was painted on the east coast and is completely custom. The painter, a friend of mine passed away the weekend I was getting the formula. I am extremely tempted to paint it black and leave the interior the gorgeous green...

My boyfriend paints cars for a living...you could have him take a look at it! I don't think we are that far from eachother.
I'd be willing to do just about anything....at one point I even offered to exchange a LIFETIME of free advertising on PL in exchange for the repairs. The guys brand new F150 was totalled and our insurance companies are fighting. Its really NOT lots of work and I can take care of disassembly/assembly etc.. Tired of seeing my ride like this:

Aww poor baby. What a shame. Here's a few idea's. One: if you decide to go black. Add some green pin striping in honor of the previous color Two: If come down to the birthplace of Low Riders aka the hood and see if some cholo can color match it? Third: Paint that baby SILVER!! ohh yea I went there!
Ehh either way it's a beautiful green color, it would be a shame to give up.
Good Luck DC
Silver is the other thought, and yes, a green pinstripe will be there to honor the interior color ;) I want satin paint, not flat ;)

poor car :(
Paint it black Edson. Not flat black either. The car is gorgeous and with all the work and what you've been through with the car you need to Gloss it. Period. You could definitely rock the green and white. I think retro-ish wheels with some detailing in a very very similar color.

Its such a shame about Mike. To this day he's still the first person that comes to mind when I brainstorm about paint/body work on one of the cars.
