Kevin Smith Fest!

Finally something nice happens! I got to meet Kevin Smith at Bloor Cinema last night! I even talked to him..well I really just asked him a couple of questions standing at a microphone while he stood on stage making jokes at my expense..and I laughed like a retard because I was so nervous! But he did eventually answer my questions seriously. : ) And I gave him a print of a painting I did..it's of a chick laying on a tiki..hope he doesn't think that's too weird. And I put ALL my contact info on the back in case he wants to hire me to work on one of his films in the future. Yes, I'm desperate!!
Worse that can happen is he thinks I'm a crazy fan..

I've heard him speak here and I'm a huge fan of his movies. Chasing Amy being the best...that's really cool! I hear he's about as down to earth as they come. Although listening him talk about his Anal Fissure for an hour...probably not the best story I've ever heard.

Big. big fan. Was just watching Dogma again two nights ago.
I'm such a geek as far as his podcast goes. If it's not up on Mondays I have to check every day until I see it. Then, god forbid, they should skip a week. I had to stop listening at the gym because I was laughing too hard.

While his stuff is not for everyone, he has definitely done well doing his thing.

Do you know if they were filming that night? It would be funny to be able to watch you on DVD in the future.
