Just A Little Thank You Note To the Moderators and Madams

I had to give you guys a little shout out and say good job moderating this place. I belong to several online forums, all for different purposes, fashion,music, my child's chronic illness, quite a few that deal with different subjects. And I have noticed that Pinup Lifestyle is THE ONLY online forum where I have not seen any drama, name calling , virtual threats and ripping each apart. This is THE ONLY site where I have not seen spam from people offering miracle cures, asking me to send money over seas, or asking me to enlarge parts I don't even have, or any of that negative stuff that works it's way all around the internet. I think you guys have done a great job keeping this site BS free and I appreciate it. Just thought I'd "say" thank you to all of you for making sure this is a pleasant place to be.

Oh my word! Thank you so much! You have no idea how much this means to us. We work hard to make sure that everyone here is safe and happy, and hearing that you feel that way makes it totally worth it! Thank you again for taking the time to post this, it's truly warms my heart.

You guys are so welcome. I was toodling around on some of my regular sites last night and it occurred to me. So I thought it really should be acknowledged. The net can sometimes be an ugly place. This site is an exception! :)

Buttercup, from around the world a HUGE thanks from Desirée & I! For some the content moderation may seem a bit draconian, but we feel that it's an important part in maintaining the community "feel" of the site. It's such a beautiful feeling to know it doesn't go unnoticed! The Madams work very hard at keeping things drama free and flowing, a tough thing to do online.

 

In a time when people post something and expect 83213 impersonal LIKES from people within minutes like Facebook, it's nice to run a place where you literally get what you give. If you're active here, you're known by the community and considered a friend by many in the online sense of the word, if you sit here and expect to get your ego stroked, you'll end up asking to delete your account all frustrated because the spotlight wasn't on you ;) to which we'll happily comply to keep quality over quantity! Just another reason we also review and approve/deny accounts ;)

You guys are very welcome. I know the process of message board moderation is ALOT of work. And alot of the reason why some other boards are so unpleasant is because people just don't have the time and/or the desire to bother following through with it. The work you guys do here certainly has not gone unnoticed! :)     safe travels to you both!

I absolutely meant it. :) I have abandoned a few of the sites I used to participate on regularly because of drama. I have not had the energy or wits about me to post here lately. In addition to running my site, I also have a day job, and two teens, and I am exhausted. But I do still get on here to at least read posts, and look at photos, and it's nice that on this site I don't have to wade through drama when I read. :)
