Wow, I forgot about this thread. See what I mean about not holding myself accountable? I guess I should revive the thread, and the weight loss journey.
I was doing well, going to the gym 4-5 days a week and my eating habits were getting better...although not great still. Then I got hurt (again), then I got sick, then I went on vacation for two weeks, then I got shingles, now I have some left over nerve damage. It's been a rough couple of months.
But now I'm home, settled, and almost better, so since you bumped up my thread, I'll start again... right now! I think I need a few more days to heal before I can go back to the gym, but i can start geting my eating back on track. I'll re-read this thread, catch up on everything, and give it another go!
Ok, so I just read back though this thread, and now I've inspired myself. It's been 2 years since this thread was started, since then I've had liposuction (it was Smart Lipo, it sucked, and didn't work), and have gained a bit.
2011 was a hard year. I decided to have Lipo in Feb and it was suppose to be a quick and easy recovery, it wasn't. It put me out of commission for months, and then I had a really hard time getting back into the swing of things. I gained about 15 lbs. Then in Feb of 2012 I decided enough was enough and got myself back into the gym. It was slow going at first, but I built up to 4-5 days a week, 1-2 hours a day. My eating habits were crappy (again), and so little by little I've been trying to improve. This time it has been much harder. For some reason, I am just not losing anything, weight or inches. I've been to the doctor, gotten some tests done, and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with me other then the fact that my body seems to like holding onto the fat, lol. I've become very discouraged, and couple that with the last 2 months... I'd basically given up.
However, reading this thread reminded me that I can do it, because I was doing it. So I'm putting together a meal plan, gonna get back in the gym as soon as i'm better, and this time I will succeed!
Hey girls good luck with the weight loss! Tuns of people find it hard to lose weight because they get bored of it.
How ever you do it make it as fun as you can :)
Learn strip tease, burlesque dancing, or even just girls day out to the gym and dinner.
Fun is the key to weight loss :)
