Hi everyone! my name is Megan and Im new to the site, i just wanted to let you all know a little bit more about me! I am junior at the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford, im majoring in illustration and minoring in graphic design and art history. After drawing many a pinup girl for tattoos for my friends I have fallen in love with the life style and look. Im now on my own journey to becoming a pinup model myself(but i have NO idea how... :) ) So in my searching for pinup style clothing, corsets, and photo sites I stumbled upon PL and I LOVE it here. Ive been quiet for the past couple days just reading other forum posts and soaking up as much information as possible, but I feel as though its time to shine! So im here posting to you! 

I would love for any help or tips on achieving the pin up look (hair tips, clothing sites (especially budget friendly ones seeing as im a broke art school student!! lol), make up tips, and any word of photographers in Connecticut!). I would also love to build up my portfolio of drawing some of you beautiful ladies! I have been using myself as a model for my pinup drawings which is good and all but definitely gets repetitive.

Hi Megan! I live in Wallingford and have recently started doing pinup shoots. I have been looking for local events and shops, as well as dolls who can share their finds! My friend Kristen is an amazing stylist, and she does incredible pinup hair! After seeing how hard it is to find cool photo shoots around here, I have decided to make my own. She is going to do hair and makeup, and I have a few photographers I am considering. I am hoping to find someone who can provide quality work at a reasonable price, and we will be using our repair shop for the set as well as some classic cars. Once I work out the details I will post it in the castings, but meanwhile feel free to add me on Facebook and let me know if you would like Kristen's contact info!
