One of the greatest movies! If you're a fan, I simply must recommend that you read Jean Shepherd's In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash. It's the book that this movie is based on, and it's been a favorite of mine since I was a kid.

you know what i just remembered?? last year we went to a Chinese restaurant for Christmas dinner. My dad was singing "Deck the halls with boughs of horry..." in the car. it was so funny and so sad.
