"We Are The New Vintage"
Hi all! I've been wanting to do something different to my hair for a while. The last several times I've had it colored I've gone a sort of auburn color, which is close to my natural hair color.
That's me on the left. (It was New Year's - I was a twee bit tipsy!) Anyhoo, I'm ready for something new and I was inspired by Kelly Osbourne.
I think it looks great on Kelly, but I'm not sure if I can pull it off. What do you guys think? Thanks!

My 2 cents - I don't think its a good look on anyone. It always looks to me like an attempt at being platinum blonde went horribly wrong. But what the heck, you never know until you try. If you absolutely hate it, you can dye it again.
I love Kelly, but I think it's horrid. The only people I think gray looks good on are little old ladies, and some times not even then. But like Auburn said, give it a go if you want... you can always dye over it.
I have an appointment on Saturday and I've decided I'm going to give it a go. If it looks like shite, well at least I'll know it doesn't look good and I won't do it again. And then I'll have it colored something else!
Welp, it looks like the gray is a no-go. I consulted with my stylist and she says we would have to bleach my hair more than once to get the warm red color out so it doesn't clash with the cool gray/lilac colors. Since I'm trying to grow my hair and don't want to fry the ish out of it, I nixed that idea. So, I'm going for this color:
Just a twee bit darker and redder than it is now. One of these days I'll get my massive transformation!
u could have her use l'oreal effasol color remover and that is better for ur hair and shouldnt take more than one try...i think it would have looked nice gray not so much like Kellys but a more silver less washed out gray brown. Thats just a thought i love the stuff I used it on girls with black hair to make them blonds :)
