i was wondering what was everyones favorite comfort foods? my mom always makes Chocolate Silk Pie for Thanksgiving and anytime she surprises my family with it throughout the year its like sheer bliss in chocolately pie form ;)

Brownies, I'm addicted to them; not the little debbie or pre-made type. I mean like home made. If there is any in the house, they will vanish overnight, no one else in the house will get one. I do my best to avoid the bake good aisle at the market, because I'll buy a box of brownie mix everytime.

meatloaf and garlic mashed potatoes. usually with peas. nummies. i make the same sauce for meatloaf my mom made - cream of mushroom soup with ketchup. sounds gross, tastes fantastic!
