Help with dual hairstyles!

Hey everyone! I'm doing a photo shoot next week, and the photographer requested in half the shoot my hair be down, and the other half up. Now, as it is a classic pin-up Vargas girl style shoot I'm having difficulty trying to come up with a hairstyle that can easily be converted from down to up. Any and all suggestions are SUPER appreciated :) Thanks!!

Waves (like Veronica Lake) then up into victory rolls or a french twist. Shouldn't be too hard since it's only for a shoot.
