"We Are The New Vintage"
I recently have been in a creative slump as nothing is inspiring to shoot anymore . So I pretty much boxed up my stuff and sold off a few things too and have been taking a break from all this to reset myself. While on my break I've been having an urge to get back to my film roots and go with shooting film and polaroid again. I miss that " whats it gonna look like " feeling that you just don't get from digital. I'm still using my D3 but I'm gonna start using my beautiful Mamyia RZ 67pro ii for my new works from now on. I scanned some images and holy cow the files are huge and wonderful... so it's on now..... I really love the light meter usage too, as it makes you think more about your lighting set up and composition too. They are so easy to use too and your exposure is spot on from the first frame if you know what your doing !!! So all in all .... I'm gonna take my new works with film and get back into making my art .... I just fell in love with the enjoyment of tearing a polaroid apart and seeing it for the first time and being exposed right too.... peace out Flat Black here's one from a testing scout I did via a B&W ...

Since I'm not a photographer, and I take terrible pictures, I do not miss the days of film...lol, but I respect anyone who can take good photos in one try, it's amazing. Can't wait to see more of what you do with this "new" medium!
Nice man! Film is film. There is nothing like the surprise of developing it. And for paying clients there is the scare of having to explain a SNAFU. There are pro's and con's for sure but there is just nothing like it!
