Okay, I've got all the pieces needed for my costume, including the nice big ginormous bunny tail (I made it out of faux fur and cobweb cotton stuffed inside). Now my biggest issue is the teddy; I ordered one from Amazon, and it's a little too thin. So I bought a pink tank top and briefs to add another layer.

The problem is that I have only minor stitching in terms of sewing skills, and only a needle, white/black thread, and scissors at my disposal. Is there any way i can add this layer without a sewing machine?

Have you got any pictures of the teddy?

Is it not possible to just wear the tank and briefs under the teddy rather than sewing it in?

I've been trying the tank top and panties on with it, but the edges don't quite add up and creates uncomfortable lines and rolls. I'm looking for a way to make it a bit smoother; I know it wont be perfect, just comfy. The bustier looks like this (pink):
