Go See Slumdog Millionaire

I just saw this movie the other night because my professor dragged me to it. Wow, am i glad she did. This is an amazing movie that you will still be thinking about for a few days. The basic story is that an uneducated 18 year old boy from the slums of Mumbai (in India) wins their version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? the movie explores his life and how he was able to come to all of the answers. It is a touching view on what the rest of the world is like, that we have it so easy here. It is being shown as a love story, but that is a small part of it. It is just about human nature.
Unless you only like slapstick comedy, you will love this movie. it is phenomenal.

I can't agree more! This is my oscar pick (although I do actually agree with some of the Indians who find issue with some of it) It's so beautifully done. It's a real masterpiece. I just got back from my 2nd viewing and love it more. Although I feel like I need a prozac now, what an amazing film. Love it!
