Girls with arm tattoos

I was thinking of getting a pinup on my upper left arm to represent who I want to be, but some people I have talked to say that girls shouldn't have arm tattoos. I hope hoping for some more opinions, what do you guys and dolls think?

I have a full right sleeve, and other random tattoos that I got when I was younger. My sleeve, however is for my family, an avian depiction of each of my children, myself, and my husband. I searched for 2 YEARS for an artist to do my sleeve, and he did an AMAZING job. Every time I look down, I see this beautiful piece of artwork and it makes me smile. It also makes me laugh when some random conservative see's it, thinks it's repulsive and gags. but that's just me. It was an unexpected perk to having a VERY visible tattoo. LOL I'm getting my left arm done, and also my chest and most of my back. So perhaps I'm biased, but I think that tattoos (when done correctly and professionally) can be absolutely STUNNING.

Do what you want with your body. You don't need anyone's advice or input. If you feel like you want a tattoo, and it would make you feel good and look good, then GO FOR IT! It doesn't matter what ANYONE else thinks. I can't wait to see it if you get it done!

as long as your 100% that its what you want- go for it!
Im covered in ink and its never (in my opinion) affected my femininity or been a cause for any negative comments.
The only thing i would say is make sure you get the right tattooist for the style that you want, do a lot of research into it to make sureyou get exactly what you want!

It's the 20th century doll, everybody has tatts or piercings. So who ever has been feeding you that tripe should get out from under the rock they've been living under for the past 30 years!
My mother got her first tattoo at the age of nineteen, back in 1976. (three years before I was born)

So, I say do what you want to do babe, screw everyone else because "it's what makes you happy at the end of the day!"
Just keep in mind that you should shop around and do some research on the artist before getting inked because it's there for life, also keep in mind if you want to add on to your piece in the future!
