Getting a haircut tomorrow afternoon. any suggestions?

Tomorrow afternoon i'm getting my hair cut. my hair is to the bottom of my shoulder blades, it doesn't wave but its not straight. I also have fairly thick hair and lots of it. Normaly i just get a a line cut and my bangs cut to the side just above my eyebrows. I'm looking for something different, something more glamorous. i would prefer to keep the length because i want to grow my hair out but my bangs i'm very open to suggestions.
Thank you so much for your suggestions, i'm really excited about getting more into the "pin up lifestyle".

Hair cuts should be based on Texture, Face Shape, and Maintenance. Really consult with your stylist. If your stylist really doesn't talk to you about "YOUR" hair then get another one.

You might just want a vertical long layered cut to go with your angles in the front. It creates longer layers toward the bottom retaining length but reducing bulk.

But you are way better off talking to you stylist. (and bring in pictures of want you don't want, since you don't know what you do want. Anything helps)

Layers will definitely make your hair easier to style, whether its being straightened or curled, as well as slightly thinning out your hair slightly. As for your bangs: bite the bullet and get a U-Shaped/Bettie Page fringe - I recommend taking a picture of one of those though as my hairdresser had no idea what one of those was haha!

Post pictures of the cut on here for us all to see, pretty please!
I did it! i made the leap and it worked out totally amazingly! i did the U-Shaped bangs and did long layers.. I love getting my hair cut. post pictures soon.
