I'm a big gal and a pinup fan. There's alot of slim girls and a lot of "curvy" girls in the scene. But I sure wish there were more plus sized/full figured girls doing it, because I love seeing pinups with my build. Plus, full figured gals look great in corsets, etc.

Now, I've found a few BBW's on this very site, but are there more plus sized pinups out there? Is this a bigger deal than I know about?

I'll have to try them down. I already have Jamie Bahr and Kerosine Deluxe. :)

I'm not a model, so I probably wouldn't contribute much to the interview, but will you give me credit for the term BBP? :) And I wanna know when this article comes out!

I'm looking for one other girl to interview for a profile piece I'm doing on BBP's. Either email me at flapperbimbo@hotmail.com or pm me here.

Thanx in advance!

Yeah, I'm a fan of all kinds of gals. But the girls I'm showing would normally have to take a back seat to a Sabinia or a Masumi. With this article I'm giving them the spot light and I think that's a good thing.
I hope my opinion is welcomed, even though I am a relatively thin gal.....but I am also fed up with the kind of pressure put on women these days by the media and pop culture to be so unrealisticly thin.

I am a big supporter of the all shapes, all sizes AND all races way of things......as long as you are in good health, if you are comfortable in your own skin and can take amazing pictures, then that is all that should matter.

Confidence, personality, and being photogenic should ALWAYS come first before dress size, cup size, what the hell ever. Being a size 2 with DD boobs means s*** if you have a nasty, stuck up attitude, and can't make more than one face in any of your pics.

I think some parts of the industry might be going though a bit of a Hollywood (modern Hollywood of course) influenced phase right now, which everything does, I guess I am not the only one hoping it will die out.
Sure, send me an email at flapperbimbo@hotmail.com

I am absolutely in LOVE with April Flores......that girl has just got it. She takes some amazing pics, and just has the whole posing/facial expression/confidence thing down to a science. This lady should be an inspiration for all girls wanting to be a pinup, regardless of weight. I have learned so much by watching her.

Check her out, you won't be dissapointed. April Flores. She has done porn and whatnot, but I don't judge. Her pinup stuff is amazing.

I posted some links to her pinup work, but realized oh S*** I was violating the terms of service....hehe....cause she goes topless in those....

Google her name, in particular the work she did for Bizarre Magazine.
In case anyone hasn't seen this art.... http://www.pinuplifestyle.com/photo/photo/listForContributor?screen.... Big girls make great pin ups too!
I find it quite sad that we have to look or search for bigger girls that are pin ups, weren't some of the original icons of feminaty women like Marilyn all plus sized.

I read an article a long time ago, can't remember in what publication, that said it's a good thing Marilyn wasn't trying to be an actress now because she would have been lucky to play the fat bimbo friend in movies.

The demands to be thin are ridiculous, what are we doing to the self esteem of younger girls and ourselves by only supporting uber thin and unhealthy looking girls. I am not saying that being thin is unhealthy, that would be rather ridiculous of me to say that but there is a thing such as too thin and all I ever see when I open a main stream magazine is an teeny tiny girl photoshopped to the point where she won't recognize herself and the rest of us feel in addicquate.
Les Toil is awesome! One of these days I hope to be a Les Toil girl!

Turned in my article a few weeks back. I think it turned out nicely and I talked to some lovely gals. Most from this very site. :) I think we can safely say they are wonderful as any thinner pin-ups. :)
