How do you feel about freckles?

I have plenty and find that people like to photoshop them out.  Do any of you like them?  If so, how do you make them sexy (make-up, ect)?  I have noticed that they are so rarely seen in pin up photography, which leads to believe they are not acceptable.  I would greatly appreciate some thoughts about how you feel :)

Thanks!

I think they're cute, but yes alot are photo shopped out. But so are wrinkles ,sometimes nipples, sometimes tattoos, cellulite, stretch marks, we could go on all day about improvements made to pics with various tools. I have also seen pics where the freckles are left alone.  I think when the photographers are working on these pics, they probably do what they feel would best suit the particular image.
There are many things that I do believe should disappear into neverland (stretch marks ect).  I guess I would love to see freckles not treated as a problem.  My hubby says he loves them and they are sexy, but it seems difficult to really utilize them.  Is it standard now for photographers to have a model that they expect to photoshop stuff like that out of?  I am currently torn on the appropriate headshot to take/send to theatre auditions, because it seems deceiving.  Nonetheless, I'm sure you can tell my freckles and I have gone round and round about how to cover them without caking on a tremendous amount of makeup or having to airbrush.  Any suggestions? :)
I Love my freckles, if it's ok with the photographer I've actually asked the makeup artist to not put makeup on the bridge of my nose and cheek bones. A lot of the photogs I've met in the past are also very different, I have had ones that love my tattoos and freckles and others that don't like them. I think it just depends on the person. I know a lot of my pics get lightened and the lights are so bright it washes me out and actually hinds them. My opinion is that they are adorable and the amazing thing about pin up is it's for women of all shapes, sizes, colors, and "patterns." If the photog doesn't like them then they probably have product or technology to remove the lovely sun kisses off themselves. :)
I recently did a shoot for a pin up look and let them show on the models nose and cheeks. I found them to be sortof innocent and flirty. Made her look more naturally beautiful. For another shoot, where the same model was more Glam/Goth, I hid them. I say try it!
Thanks Tracy!!! I will have to see how tomorrow's shoot goes :D  I am super excited and can't wait to see what they decide to do.

It is so nice to hear someone loves them and uses them :)

I have freckles, and while I think they're cute, I don't really think they're sexy.  Depending on what kind of mood/tone I'm trying to convey in a picture, I'll edit them out (if I'm trying to be sexy/sophisticated) or leave them in (if I'm trying to be flirty and cute).  That's just how I feel about my own freckers.  One of my favorite people with freckers is Julianne Moore and you're hard-pressed to find a professional photo of her with her freckles showing.

Ad for Bvlgari with all her freckles clearly airbrushed out

vs.

On the red carpet, in all her freckered glory!

What does it all mean?  That the majority of people don't find freckles attractive, or that companies think that the majority of people don't find freckles attractive?  The world may never know.  :)

Below would be my bet.

As you can see, mine havent been airbrushed out, I hate them but everyone else thinks they're cute and the photographer decided to leave them in :) xxx

Thank you for the responses!  Your freckles are cute and suit you :)  I had a great talk with the make-up artist yesterday and she did a great job using my freckles :)  I can't wait to see the final results.  I attached a couple snapshots I took after I got home.
i have freckels and am, HOT!
I love freckles. I think they're super cute. My husband likes them too! I often wipe off my excess makeup off of my cheeks and nose where my freckles are so they show more
