Finding your 'daily' pinup style

Hello all! my first post here. :> I've loved pinup style since I was 15, but never really could dress that way due to well. money and laziness. I'm 20 now and really want to honestly look rockabilly-pinup style all the time.. but heres my dilemma, I have the hair and makeup down(Once my hair grows back out..) but I am utterly shapeless and quite frankly feel WAY too fancy in dresses and skirts.. even 'casual' ones.  I've recently decided I'm much more a 'jeans and a t-shirt and heels'  rockabilly type... but it kinda makes me sad!!  I love the whole pencil skirt and button up bad girl look along with more authentic 'sweet' 40's dresses.. i find I just look strange in more tailored things.... 

So to all of you wonderful ladies;  do you wear the type of things you model in on a daily basis?  Do you still dress 'pinup' when not in front of the camera?  What do you wear on a daily basis?

Any one else have the issue I have?  I still havent gotten to modeling really,  but I'd like to build a wardrobe of stuff i can wear :(  any advice ladies?

For events I wear a full skirted halter dress or a high waisted pencil skirt with a black corset style top or a halter top with a pair of knock-out shoes.  When I'm casual about town:  a pair of skinny jeans, a fitted tshirt or my button down dickie look alike shirts that are tailored and fitted, my studded belt with a large belt buckle, wallet with chain (I don't carry a purse when I'm not at work or at an event) and either flats or chucks.  I've got more of a punk rock edge with my style.  Even when I'm super girly looking I add something edgy in there: a studded cincher belt, corset, my big corvette emblem necklace or what have you. 

At work I usually wear wide leg trousers with a fitted top and heels or a pencil with a cami and cardigan.  Hair tends to be down or in a ponytail as I have gone back to my Bettie bangs look.  Makeup is more toned down.
