There's nothing like watching a live band. I did get to see Bob Dylan in concert, wasn't my favorite but loved to see a great at work.

The Damned......David Vanian is excellent to see live!! So glad I was able to see them, they havent been to the USA in so long. My son is named after him!
I just thought of this.....I'm not sure if anyone else knows who they are but they were 1 of the best live shows Ive ever been to.....The Yo-Yo's. I caught them at Firseide Bowl in Chicago probably 6 years ago or so. I didnt know who they were when they started playing but by the end of their set I had bought their CD and the album on vinyl! They were so good! And I have been trying to follow them since, though its been difficult because they broke up, then re-formed, then seemed to break up again, hahaha! Anyway......anyone from the UK know if Danny McCormack is playing music still??
They just did a US tour! One of the clubs I work for booked them (it's a tiny 200 capacity club in San Jose) and it was an amazing night!

I think the first time I saw the Pogues...

I also think Wayne Hancock is one of the best live shows ever. He's actually playing San Jose tomorrow night and Oakland Saturday night. The San Jose Mercury news did an article on him in today's entertainment section of the paper!

I saw an amazing show by Lee Rocker at the Bluebird Theater (in Denver) back in 1999 or 2000... it's a small venue, and he filled it with sound and enthusiasm and an obvious passion. I was honored to be able to shake his hand after the show.
I saw "Beck" at the new Nokia Club.... It was the best show I've seen. It was s simple performance but the people were all on the same wavelength and singing and... it was great.
Under that, I would say "AquaBats" (original line up).... Cabbage out of a cannon...common

And I may go see "English Beat" in the latter part of the new year... pretty pumped on that

Insane Clown Posse. Awesome show every time. Everyone there is like family and they really know how to work a stage.
Just saw Wayne Hancock 2 nights in a row...man, he is amazing!
Motley Crue, Tommy Lee and his drumset rising up from the rear of the stage, moving forward over the crowd, spinning 360 degrees over and over and over while doing a drum solo, a stage lifting up and vince neil walking out about 3ft over our heads, it was MADNESS.
