I don't know the first thing about false eyelashes. What brands and glue do you recomend for everyday and special occasions? Please and thank you for your help.

I use the false lashes you get at your local beauty supply store or even wal mart. Kiss is a popular brand. Even if you use the glue that looks white it dries clear. I like to cut the lashes in half or so, it makes them easier to work with especially for everyday wear. I put the glue on the lashes then put on a coat of mascara quick letting the glue sit for a second makes it stick better. Use tweezers if you have to, to get the lashes right down on your lashes. It takes some practice but once you get it you'll be wearing lashes everyday! Take care of your lashes by cleaning them when your done and you can use them more then once. Look for the kind with the invisible band. Look on youtube there might be some helpful videos. Also there is a video How to be a pinup model by Bettina May and Go Go Amy, Lots of good advice.
Thank you. I simply got overwelmed trying to find lashes that would work and glues. So many choices. I will definately look st the videos. I've tried falsies before and made a huge mess including glue in my eye. Lol it was a horrible.
Yes ruthless is so right. The ones at walmart or any drug store are great and cutting them in half will save yo! I have been doing makeup for years and I can rarely get a full strip on myself without cutting it.
Thank you so much
I have seen makeup artists use a glue thats black, its for extensions or something like that but its one that comes right off too.

Its killer but I did hear that one makeup artist used black glue on an artist and it pretty much burned her eyelids (It was the wrong kind).

There must be different kinds, can someone that knows more chime in? Its def awesome to have it dry black when you're gonna use dark makeup anyways.
Try the Revlon brand lashes. I've only seen them at Wal-Mart but I love them. They're more comfortable than any other I've tried. I think some of them have glue included as well.
Awesome... Do you know how much they go for?
Yes some people think you can use the black extension glue on eyelids but it in NOT SAFE! This is why you need to make sure your makeup artist is an actual makeup artist with certifications. Anyone who has been to school will know how to practice safely and with proper sanitation. You get a regular person who thinks they KNOW how to do makeup and you ca end up with bacterial infections and burns.

just make sure you are using glue for eyelashes. The stuff that comes with them works fine and is safe.
There is one type tho that IS safe to use, I just don't want to give any advice without knowing the exact product.
I will look into it
There is a black glue from Ardell that is awesome.  I also like their lashes as well, they have a wide variety that are inexpensive!  :-)
