This is a really great video! I'm sure tons of girls are going to be buying gel eyeliner now. Once people realize how easy it is to apply, and how LONG it stays put, I know that it'll be flying off the shelves.

OOPS! I better go stock up!
I hope so! It's my favorite type and it does stay put! I like MAC Fluidine and also Studio Gear Gel Liner..plus its a few bucks cheaper than MAC's... It stays on me alllll day and night with no flaking. Where would I be without Gel Liner?

Thank you for posting this! I had always wondered about gel liner. I have "bedroom/hooded" eyes, so my eye makeup always creases, especially liners. Now I'm going to buy some of this ASAP.
Thank you!!! I have been experimenting with gel liner and it gets a little better with each application but I still have trouble with the wing. I'm going to try using eye shadow first and see if that helps. Also, if I line my lower lid, what's the best way to join them up without ruining the winged effect?
Aww. You'll be doing wings like me in no time! Just keep practicing! When I line my lower lid..I use a pencil liner in the waterline. Then I line underneath my lower lashes with the same color eyeshadow and a pencil brush. It gives a softer smokey effect that won't mess up the wings..
Watch this tutorial of mine and at about 4.30 into it I line my lower lid..

Aubrey, you're so sweet and helpful!

Next question: how do I prevent myself from tearing up during the waterlining process? is is just practice? I always manage to ruin a waterline look- it looks like I just broke up with my bf when I try it!
