I am curious how many people here dress up for every day wear. I cant afford to have that many pinup outfits as the price tags are insanely high. I would love to however it just doesnt happen.

To an extent, I do the rolled jeans and chucks mainly. I did wear heels daily, but now I work 12hr shifts and am on my feet all day so that just doesn't cut it anymore. On my days off I can't wait to get back into my heels, esp my red ones! Always do my make-up and fake eyelashes, bandana in the hair or flower. Living in Michigan it gets a little harder in the winter, I have lots of vintage inspired tops for warmer months! But I save the dresses and pencil skirts for something a little more then work or grocery shopping.
I'm still working on that! Right now sweaters and cardigans, It's not my ideal look. But once I do my hair and all my make-up, throw on jeans and chucks, its not too bad. But sometimes its so darn cold I can't resist a nice warm hoodie.

OooOoO! Look for fitted sweaters with flattering necklines, short or long sleeves- try those synthetic camisoles underneath for warmth without bulk. I'll have to take pics of the next cashmere or angora sweater I wear with a circle or pencil skirt. :) Petticoats and slips help keep me toasty, too. It doesn't get cold for very long here, but I still have to be prepared.
Bullet bras are good so it still looks like you have a nice rack under fuzzy sweaters- hence the "sweater girl" image.
aggreed!

I'd like to, but I where I live people don't hardly ever dress up so I'd stand out like a sore thumb. I settle for dark denim, converse, a t-shirt, maybe a bandanna in my hair and my make-up done.
Oooh fun topic! I definitely do a version of modern pin-up/vintage/thrift girl/Seanna randomness everyday, everywhere (including the market). It sounds crazy but I get extremely excited to get dressed everyday in an expressive way no matter where I'm going. I always add an element of something I've never worn with a particular outfit so I honestly have not repeated the exact same outfit...dare I say it...EVER. I always change up an accessory, the shoes, or belt. Sounds silly I know but it floats my boat and makes me feel great! It has caused an issue though, I absolutely CANNOT live somewhere without a walk in or very large closet. My thrift store shopping problem is not receding. Don't get me wrong though, I put a lot of thought into a cute tshirt, jeans and knee high boots type of an outfit!
(Moved thread to Fashion & Accessories by the way! :)
