So I'm not sure if this was covered in a different discussion but I have been cursed with some pretty dark circles under my eyes. I have tried everything to get rid of them but nothing works that well. I was wondering what kind of concealers everyone uses to cover up dark circles. I have tried so many I'm really interested in any suggestions anyone might have.

My favorite concealers are all by Lancome. I'm a MAC girl at heart, but I love Lancome concealer. I have a friend who had really bad circles under here eyes, and she used skin bleach to lighten them. Not sure if you wanna be that drastic, but it worked for her.
Assuming you don't have a medical condition, don't smoke, have allergies, get enough sleep, are properly hydrated and that this isn't hereditary... I've used these 2 natural approaches with success:

- Eating about 20 raw almonds a day + almond oil under the eyes. I forget what it is, but there's a compound in the almonds that builds blood vessel strength and skin structure. Maybe anti-oxidant.

- Asian pear/ apple pear/ Fuji pear - for the past month I've been eating homemade fruit salad very regularly and always with Asian pear included. Voila! Under eye circles massively decreased (I have very pale skin and lifelong burst vessels under my eyes). Here's some info:

"Asian pear is a juicy and crunchy fruit that has long been prized by Chinese herbalists as a way to lighten under-eye circles. Asian (or Fuji) pears are packed with copper and vitamin C, antioxidant nutrients that help protect you from cellular damage caused by free radicals. When free radicals damage enough skin cells, signs of aging begin to appear. Copper is an essential component of superoxide dismutase (SOD), an enzyme that attacks these harmful agents when they enter the body via air pollution and other toxins."

If you try these at all, let us know if it helps!
Check out Colortration. www.colortration.com. They will send you 6 samples for $16.00, so you can decide if you like the product, and also which color matches you the best. That stuff covers up everything. I use it to cover my tattoos and it completely conceals even the blackest black lines. I also use it under my eyes for shoots cause I have a problem with veins and undereye bags.

Other than that, maybe some of the color correcting concealers. There are different formulas and different colors to cancel out pigments in the skin. I think green concealer is for undereye darkness.....makeup artists correct me if I am wrong....
Thanks for the ideas! I'll definitely be picking up some asian pears and I'll look into the colortation thing. I have tried the counter color thing and it only left my skin looking funky no matter how much I blended. i already eat almonds but I'll look into the almond oil as well : )
Ooooh, the Colortration stuff looks amazing! Like Ben Nye for every day wear!

I've tried the counter-colour before when my circles were darker (yellow/lemon is for dark and green is for red). I also looked very odd, even after putting foundation over top. Works much better now though; I can almost get away with wearing it without foundation.
If you have a hereditary condition then your best bet is to use something that is going to correct the problem rather than cover it up. Try Mary Kay eye revitalizer. My boyfriend uses it because he gets broken capalaries and has dark circles and it has done wonders for him.
So I bought the colortration trial pack a few days ago. I was skeptical when I first put it on, but it set itself so nice I was very impressed. I love it! thank you so much for recommending it.
benefit's boi-ing works really well for me.
