Cost for a photographer.

We are looking to do our first photoshoot, nothing elaborate, we just need models to display and showcase dresses.  My question is what is the usual going rate for photographers?  I understand there are photographers with much more experience than others, so I'mjust looking for an average cost.  Thanks in advance for any help!

Anything from $100 to $800 depending on experience, talent, area, event type, time of year, MUAH included or not included, promotions.... it's crazy how much it varies.

Or you get on Model Mayhem as a stylist and send out a casting call for models and photographers,  You have clothes.  They need clothes... sometimes magic is made.

In general, your local professional photographers can charge anywhere from 400 to 600 for a day. they may have contracts open with MUA's and Hair guru's that may lower their rate if you hire their colleagues- pro glass from other cities can start the bill at 1,000 so looking for a local body might be a better option for those on a budget.

100???? i dunno lol i agree with everything else tho....it does vary quite a bit but but not for 100.

I interpet that as $100 per hour. In the SF bay area average for a pro is$125 an hour.

For a clothing catalog shoot for a day is about 800.00 - 1500 for a day 10hrs  may include MUAH ... just remember you get what you pay for !!!
