Call for Entry Art and Photography show:
My Valentine: An Exploration of Strength and Subtlety of lust and lovers

Valentines Day can denote many things as diverse as love, heart, beauty, lust, companion, excitement, strength, power, lack-of-control and heartbreak.  What images come to your mind when you think of Valentines Day, a favorite pinup, car, kitten or?.

This is a call to artists to submit their images for a juried show.

When: Submissions will be accepted until Monday, January 31st.

How: By January 31st, 2011, please email [e-mail] with the titles, mediums, framed sizes of the work you are submitting. Images emailed should be less then 1000 pixels on the longest dimension x 72 DPI.  This show is juried – and you will be contacted by mail to let you know if your work is accepted.

How Long: This exhibit will be up from February 5th to March 4th, 2011.  Artwork will be hung on February 5th from 1-5 PM.  Artwork must be framed and ready to hang.

Reception for the artists Friday February 11th, 6-9 PM.

Valentines day Party Saturday February 12th until ?

Where: Bridgehead Studios, 2516 Blanding Av, Alameda, CA, 94501

Cost: Accepted artists will have a $35.00 show fee to help cover the costs of promotion, food, wine and beer.  There is a 40% commission on sold artwork.

I'd love to submit a piece, but I'm just not sure how on earth i'd get it mounted etc!
