Burlesque in your town

Since we are all from different places I thought it would be good to put together a collection of the best places to go for Burlesque shows. That way if your traveling you have a resource of places to check out, and who knows, there may be something in your town you don't even know about.

I'll start.

I'm in the Bay Area, CA and there's a ton of shows but my favorite is the Hubba Hubba Revue. Monday nights at the Uptown in Oakland, and one Friday a month at the DNA in San Francisco.

Though they don't have a standing venue, the Sizzling Sirens, (based in Sacramento, CA), are a great act to catch.
Next playing The Press Club, Dec 21st, 9:pm - 2:am, downtown Sac.

I live in New York and while I wouldn't consider myself to be an expert on the Burlesque scene, I have taken some classes and there are always shows here.

There is a huge Burlesque Festival in September.

I think the Slipper Room is one place you can go and watch burlesque shows.

Jo Boobs and the Potani Sisters are pretty much mainstays of the scene here.

Also Darlinda just Darlinda. I sent out some emails to the yahoo groups I am in with the burlesque people here.

I am very eager to get more burlesque stars on here and people in New York on this site, so I can network more.

Plus this site is so awesome. I am excited to tell people about it and watch it grow.

Also I know there is the Miss Exotic World festival in Vegas every year or at Nevada, I think around June or so..
