Just wondering if there are any other fans of Brit comedy..you know stuff like Monty Python, Eddie Izzard, Absolutely Fabulous, The Young Ones, etc. I love it because it's so absurd and dark. My kinda comedy!

Yes, the Young Ones were awesome! Also great were Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson in a series called Bottom from the 1990s. Ade played a character called Eddie Hitler! Lots of kicking in the bollocks, broken limbs, burned faces, and other mayhem-
Also, check out a series called Little Britain, if you haven't already. Their sketches are filled with odd characters and hilarious, really crude situations. The League of Gentlemen is worth watching also, speaking of odd characters.
Is Little Britain the one that has a character working in customer service who always says "Computer says no". A co-worker showed my a clip of some show..it was hilarious. If only we could be that rude to customers.."sigh" I wanna what show that's from.

"Pollution..
All around! Somtimes up..
Somtimes down but always around!
Pollution are you coming to my town or am I coming to yours?
We're on different buses pollution but we're both carrying petrol..
bombs!"

That was a poem from the "people's poet". It's from memory I hope I got it right. Watch the Young Ones if you have'nt already!

Yep that is one of the Little Britain sketches...They did do a Little Britain USA where they took the Characters over there, plus added some new ones....it's been shown over here so it must have been shown there too ?? It's not as crude as the UK one but still the same sort of thing.
If it's LESS crude I'm not interested..
that's the problem with American shows. We need MORE crudeness not less!

Here's a little video clip so you can see what I mean..I lived in a house that was slightly less filthy then this...
Enjoy!

Here's a few clips for you to amuse yourself with Anita. Benny Hill, Fawlty Towers etc etc.

This is Fawlty Towers, it starred John Cleese of Monty Python fame.

This is an example of Scottish Comedy. The stereotypical Scotsman is a bit cringe worthy, don't you think?
I LOVE EDDIE IZZARD. I've been watching his stuff for years and years...I went to see him a few months ago on his Stripped tour and he made me cry laughing twice...and I saw him live when he did his Sexie tour...made me cry laughing again! Hilarious man.

Peep Show and The IT Crowd are also brillianto.

Poppy Fields - about Balls of Steel...have you seen Big Gay Following? I know him! He's called Eric and is lovely.
