"We Are The New Vintage"
So like many many people out there, the new year rings getting back into shape. However I've read a lot of things about suppressing appetite. Now I understand some people put on weight because they are constantly snacking or hungry because of high sugar foods giving blood sugar crashes, but what about people who don't snack or crave all the time?
I've never been one to snack a lot, or to eat high fat foods, or huge quantities. Growing up we weren't accustomed to big amounts or fast food. Actually fast food was pretty much a luxury we couldn't afford.
I can't eat what I want otherwise I regret it later. Even as a kid I couldn't eat what I want since it meant gaining weight where my friends stayed wafer thin. It's not an issue of being hungry with me. Actually I often forget to eat since food isn't a priority to me.
I've done the calorie-counting, the cardio and strength training, only to see little results (you'd think after 3 months I'd have lost more than 3 pounds). Now about 6 years ago, this worked wonders, but now it seems to do nothing. I guess my body has changed but somehow I think that's stretching it when I'm only 29.
Anyone else dealt with this?
There is a weight I love being at (and is nowhere near the BMI I'm supposed to have but I'm comfortable at that weight), but can't seem to get close to it. It's very frustrating.
