Darkroom ???

So i Love taking pictures but im not a professional i just like doing it and i was thinking of making my own darkroom and develope my own pictures i'l start of in black and white ofcourse so does any one have any i dea on how i can get started and what i need for a darkroom??? Please help Im lost :$

If you only want to develope your own pictures you dont need a whole lot. You would need the chemicals for the developing. A developing tank and some film rollers for the developing tank. A beaker to measure the chemicals and thats mostly it. If you are wanting to print your own pictures in your own darkroom thats a whole other story. You would need to get darkroom safe lights, developing trays, chemicals, enlarger, etc. If you havnt ever printed in a dark room before this may be somewhat of a difficult undertaking. Developing your own film is a pretty simple thing to do but if you are thinking about making a full darkroom with an enlarger and all you might want to know more about the ins and outs before you rush off and spend a bunch of money on the supplies and equipment. there are lots of books for beginners out there that go into great detail about developing and printing that you could get. If theres anything more specific that you need to know feel free to ask.
