Richard Paul Davis and Paging Bettie Productions present “Poets and Pin-ups”, an evening of Original Music and Retro-Style at the Tap In Grill & Pub in historic downtown Grapevine.
Event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend dressed in the style of the 40's & 50's style. Everyone that brings a toy for the toy drive will receive a raffle ticket for prizes. The songwriters that are participating will judge the contest participants.
Songwriters will be broken into duos and song swap for an hour per duo.

BENEFIT: Event will include a Toys4Tots Holiday toy-drive.

TALENT: Songwriters slated to perform include: James Dunning of the Lost Immigrants, Saile Branch of the Big Benders, Erin Gayden, Michael Prysock, Hank Van Hawkins and Richard Paul Davis of the Dirty Charmers, Zachary Scott Pohl and Southern Karma.

PIN-UP CONTEST: Dress up in your best 40-50’s Retro-Pinup style for the Pin-up Contest with grand prize donated by Through the Looking Glass Photography Studio.

Contest will include the following categories: "Boldest Bettie", "Coolest Cat", "Swingin'est Couple" and "The Ultimate Vargas Girl".

PRIZES will include: Pin-up Photo Shoot from Through the Looking Glass Studio, Tattoo gift certificate from A Living Canvas studio, Autographed Copy of event poster by Featured Songwriters, and Gift Certificates from Grapevine Barber Shop, Ole Grapevine Cigar & Tobacco Company, Tap-In Grill & Pub & more.

Contest participants must be 18+ yrs old. Dress must be TASTEFUL & APPROPRIATE! This is a pub, but still a “family” environment! No pasties, bikinis, lingerie, fetishwear, etc. If your outfit is deemed not acceptable, you will be asked to change or leave. Contest will be judged by our Featured Songwriters.
